A 37-acre urban lake in the heart of Marysville, Ellis Lake has served as the city's central public space since the 1850s. Originally a natural slough, it was developed into a formal lake and park. The lake is surrounded by a walking path and is the site of community events, including the Bok Kai Festival. A lighted fountain operates seasonally.
