The historic commercial spine of downtown Marysville, D Street runs through the heart of the city and past the Bok Kai Temple. During the Gold Rush, it was one of the most bustling commercial streets in California. Today it retains many of its 19th-century buildings and is the route of the annual Bok Kai Festival parade.
